Ahmednagar Switchgear Works (ASW), inaugurated in March 1984, has evolved into a growth center for the electrical and automation business of L&T Electrical & Automation. This campus houses factories of two business units – Electrical Standard Products (ESP) on 157430 sq. mtrs and Electrical Systems & Equipment (ESE) on 126781 sq. mtrs amid a vast expanse of greenery. These factories manufacture a host of low and medium voltage switchgear products and customized electrical systems. There also is a tool manufacturing module.

The campus is ISO-certified for environment, health and safety. Its efforts towards production, quality, health & safety and environment have been rewarded with accolades like the Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Award, Frost & Sullivan Platinum Award, GreenTech Environment Excellence Award, etc. It is also engaged in various community service activities.
